Near the end of January and my reading challenge off to a great start, plus I also managed a little vacation to start the new year 🙂
In my recent blog, I talked about a last year’s reading challenge using the Goodreads site. In 2019, I set my objective at 12 books and finished with 15. This year, I wanted to maintain a reasonable pace so I set an objective of 13 books.
One of the books was called Peak Performance. It was interesting because the main focus pertains to the Stress + Rest = Growth equation. In the book, the authors acknowledge that Rest is seen as a passive and sometimes lazy non-action. However, they identify many points where Rest is important for our growth.
Overall, I recommend this book for anyone looking for a Goodread 😉
