Build long lasting relationships.
It’s good for humanity and for the soul.
Ever built such a solid relationship with someone, even though you haven’t seen each other in years, the next encounter feels like it was yesterday !? This is my approach to each and every individual I meet at the dealership.
I also believe in team work and keep close relationships with my colleagues at the service department. Communication is key and everyone benefits from it.
Plus it makes for a happier environment and more enjoyable experience.
Shed some light on me.
I am proactive as a salesperson. For instance, I visit the service and parts department on a regular basis. I often bought gadgets at the parts department or asked technical question with service advisors. Most of the time, I just stop in to say hello. My rationale is, if I have a strong relationship with my colleagues then we will be stronger when the time comes to solve issues.
A proactive solving approach.
When I can, I try to help my clients to fix their car ‘issues’ instead of them going through the service department. Why should my clients have to book a service appointment, bring their car in and lose time if I could help them solve the issue. Many salespeople only care about the next sale whereas I strived for my customer’s satisfaction.
